RASTAPLAS IN THE CITY
Rastaplas is a family festival that has been organizing the Rastaplas Festival in Zoetermeer for more than 20 years, fully dedicated to reggae. Now that the festival season has come to an end, Rastaplas is once again touring the country with a series of intimate club shows in various cities: Rastaplas in the City.
During these showcases, you get the unique opportunity to discover local DJs and bands. They are eager to present their talent in their own environment. Alongside a local band, a nationally known act will also take the stage—same goes for the evening’s DJ.
Prepare yourself for a musical journey full of reggae and rhythms. Let yourself be carried away by the positive energy and joyful vibes, or simply come to relax and enjoy together with like-minded people.
All of this is made possible by Rastaplas Festival and Musicon.
One love,
Rastaplas in the City Crew
DUB SPENCER & TRANCE HILL
Dub Spencer & Trance Hill is a Swiss band that has carved out its own place in the European dub and electronic scene since 2003. Founded by bassist Marcel Stalder, the group evolved from an experimental trio into a four-piece formation. Drummer Julian Dillier, keyboardist/producer Philipp Greter, and guitarist Michael Bucher. Over the years, the band developed a distinctive style in which live dub, electronic elements, and psychedelic structures merge.
WILLOW HIFI
On the Willow Hifi soundsystems, Willowman & Miss DinOmyte have been a familiar and appreciated act for many years.
>But even outside the Willow Hifi soundsystem sessions, they know how to treat “the crowd” to their uplifting and danceable tunes, along with the improvised, ethereal flute playing of Miss DinOmyte!
