The Amsterdam-based funk collective Amsterdelics is celebrating its 10th anniversary! Over the past two years, they’ve been quietly working on their new album — and of course, that calls for a proper celebration, just like the old days at the Melkweg — on the night before Ascension Day. Their brand-new 12-inch “Angels And Rebels”, featuring a dub remix by British sound wizard Gaudi, is now available in stores and on Bandcamp. Ten years… that deserves a show where they go all out — and that’s exactly what they’re going to do!

- Joe Bowie – legendary trombonist, multi-instrumentalist, and founder of Defunkt, the iconic 70s street jazz/funk band from New York
- Joost Belinfante (Doe Maar) – multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. He wrote and performed the alternative Dutch anthem of the 70s, “Nederwiet”. A fun fact: the very first performance of the track took place at the Melkweg!
