Kabaka Pyramid is a Grammy Award–winning Jamaican reggae artist and “conscious revolutionary lyricist.” His background in hip hop is clearly reflected in his reggae and dancehall sound, giving his music a modern and refreshing edge. In 2022, his album The Kalling—produced by Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley—won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. He has also been featured on tracks by drum & bass acts such as Chase & Status and Rudimental.
