Meta and the Cornerstones | Patronaat, Haarlem | 30-05-2025

Born in Senegal and now living in New York, Meta Dia will return to Patronaat on Friday, May 30th! His musical career began at the age of fourteen when he performed on the streets and stages of Dakar. Now, the reggae virtuoso—named “The Future of Reggae Music” by Nat Geo Music—is set to conquer Patronaat once again.

As early as 2000, Meta received acclaim with his first band, YALLA SUUREN, which was nominated as Best Hip-Hop Group by the French Cultural Center. A year later, after moving to New York, Meta founded his visionary band: Meta and the Cornerstones.
