Thrilled to reach the 5th edition mark! Ghent Dub Club will gather once again for an electrifying and exclusive session to take place at the GDC HQ; Eskimofabriek! Non-other than:

IRATION STEPPAS SOUND SYSTEM meets INDICA DUBS SOUND SYSTEM BOTH PLAYING ON THEIR OWN FULL SOUND SYSTEMS, ALL NIGHT LONG! Bringing undiluted UK Dub-session vibes and quality closer than ever before. Serious, raw and ruff sound system culture meeting of two heavyweights!

Extra special message: for this big night, ShowTex acoustic drapes will be installed!

Iration Steppas Soundsystem

No introduction needed. Fully established from the 90’s to the present day: a sound system headed by producers, soundmen and label owners Mark Iration and Dennis Rootical. With 30+ years of experience under their belt, their reputation covers the globe and always makes for a lasting imprint when the sound system hits the town! Iration Steppas standing synonymous for ‘Year 3000 style Dubs’ is much storied and famous for their clashing dubplate specials, voiced by countless legendary singers in the industry. One-away dubplates you’ll only hear at his sessions and no-where else! All this while pushing the sound system to unheard levels, it makes for the perfect storm in a sound meeting arena. The ones who know, KNOW, there’s no sound or style quite like it! Not seen on the European mainland with the sound since 2019, we at GDC are honoured to include them for our 5th edition line-up!

Indica Dubs Soundsystem

Unleashing a consistent stream of vinyl releases (almost 100!) since 2010, whether working on future releases or heavy dubplates, it’s obvious Indica Dubs keeps extremely busy in the studio! Also equipped with a top of the range sound system and a strong will to preserve the old school traditions and principles of UK Dub; Sukh marches on as an independent producer, label owner and soundman. His wide-ranging experience and strong work ethic from a young age made it possible to play in countries all over the world, and amongst the biggest names in the industry. It’s guaranteed to be a special experience with the most exclusive tunes being played straight from the Indica Dubs studio!
