HOMEBASE returns to Merleyn!
Homebase is the stage for the colorful Boomshakalak movement: a place with an open spirit where everyone feels welcome and the crowd is as diverse as the music. For years, Boomshakalak was known as Nijmegen’s longest-running reggae club night. Now the concept is getting a fresh boost: with new tunes, familiar faces, and that unmistakable family vibe.

Artist and Boomshakalak DJ Jeroen Bevers incorporated the Jamaican Folly Lighthouse in the artwork as a symbol of this home base. The image represents coming together and coming home — exactly what you’ll experience with the finest, most danceable Jamaican-rooted music, presented as only Boomshakalak Soundsystem can.

Get ready for a musical journey that mirrors the transition from summer to autumn: from uplifting reggae and sunny dancehall to deep roots, raw dub, and heavy bass.
