Jamaican singer Patra (aka The Original Queen of Dancehall) rose to prominence in 1993 with her debut album Queen of the Pack, blending dancehall with R&B, hip-hop and pop. The singles “Worker Man,” “Think (About It)” and “Romantic Call” reached high positions on the US dance charts, while her second album, Scent of Attraction (1995), delivered another hit with a cover of Grace Jones’ “Pull Up to the Bumper.” Following a lengthy hiatus, this pioneer of raw, female-led dancehall is back: two new tracks were released this year on producer Freddy Browne’s JHOUSE label!

Before and after the show, ReggaeBomb soundsystem will spin the best reggae and dancehall classics.
