Bagjuice loves good reggae music. That’s why they make deep dub, solid steppers and rocking rub-a-dub. Bagjuice originally comes with its own sound and lyrics, which are relevant in the 21st century. On Friday 22 November they will be in Patronaat together with Roots reggae formation Steel and Stone from Rotterdam!

Bagjuice is known for their energetic live shows where vocals and instruments are dubbed live with echo and reverb fx. In 2014 the first release ‘Last Night’ was released on 7″ vinyl and digitally, followed in the following years by two EPs (‘self-titled’ in 2015 and ‘Safe & Sound’ in 2017) and two singles (‘Speak Of Love’ and ‘Picture Yourself’ in 2020). In addition to this release, Bagjuice has also released a good number of (live) videos. The latest video is of the song ‘Get Away’ (2021), which was also released as a single together with the dub version ‘Dub Away’.
In 2024, the latest singles ‘Cycle’ and ‘Long Time’ were released.

Steel and Stone

Steel and Stone is a Roots-Reggae band from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The band was formed in 2016 when lead singer Brantley MacDonald decided to elevate his music to the next step. Brantley comes from a family of musicians, his uncle Star David (who got his artist name from Bob Marley) was part of the first Reggae Band in the Netherlands called Communication. From an early age he got inspired by the songs of his uncle and at the age of 18 year Brantley started to write his own songs. In 2005 he and then fellow musicians Cealdino Oliveira, Patrick Marcelino and Martijn van der Woerd formed the band Forecast Jah Reign.
