Rootsriders ft Mo Ali is coming to Luxor Live in Arnhem. For 20 years, Rootsriders—since 2017 together with Sudanese singer Mo Ali—have been traveling the world in the footsteps of their musical hero Bob Marley, still the undisputed King of Reggae. To celebrate this anniversary, they are asking Bob Marley fans this year which songs they would most like to hear. As their own support, they will also perform songs from their recently released album Beautiful Day Beautiful Life.
About Rootsriders feat. Mo Ali
Rootsriders were founded in 2006 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Bob Marley’s passing, marked by a sold-out concert at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. Well-known former members include current The Wailers lead singer Mitchell Brunings, Shirma Rouse, and Giovanca. In 2021, the band reached the final of the first edition of the SBS6 TV show The Tribute: Battle of the Bands, and performed alongside the three other finalists in a sold-out Ziggo Dome. The band regularly performs abroad, both with their own concerts and at festivals. They tour extensively both in the Netherlands and internationally, celebrating Marley’s legacy worldwide.
