The Slackers (USA) are returning to Sittard-Geleen! This legendary ska band played at Ernesto’s for years and even recorded a live album there. On October 4, 2024, the band will finally be back for an exclusive show at Poppodium Volt!

For 33 years, The Slackers have been touring the world with their unique blend of ska, reggae, and soul. With fifteen albums and countless performances, they are known as “the sound of New York.” Their latest album, Don’t Let The Sunlight Fool Ya, reached the top of the U.S. Billboard charts in April 2022. Despite over 30 years of experience, they were still considered a “new artist.” After a successful comeback in 2022 and 2023, they are now working on a 20th-anniversary reissue and a new single set for release in October 2024.
