House of Meddy & Reggae Movement present a unique tribute to the legendary artists who shaped reggae music. Heights Meditation, Flavour Coalition, and Capital Roots will take you on a musical journey through their inspirations while also performing their own hits. It’s a full evening program infused with the powerful messages of unity, peace, and love. DJ Sista Souljah will set the tone with her uplifting musical selections, creating the perfect backdrop for this unforgettable celebration of reggae.

Straight out of Amsterdam, Heights Meditation crafts reggae infused with dub, ska, hip-hop, dancehall, and Surinamese influences. Their mission to create positive, infectious, and energetic music consistently sets the stage for a lively and festive atmosphere. They’ve performed at renowned festivals like Afro Latino, Zwarte Cross, Reggae Lake, and Kwaku Summer Festival, as well as in iconic venues such as Ahoy, TivoliVredenburg, and Oosterpoort, not to mention intimate club settings.

Flavour Coalition is a roots reggae band creating music with a powerful political message against poverty, inequality, and corruption. Their sound is deeply rooted in influences from Africa, South America, and Europe. Their second album, ‘New Reality’, is set to be released soon.

Capital Roots is a roots reggae band formed in Amsterdam. Over the years, the members connected both musically and as friends in a shared rehearsal space where jam sessions regularly take place.

Sista SoulJah began her DJ career 25 years ago and has been one of the resident DJs at the reggae event ‘A Reggaebomb’ since its inception in 2002. Inspired by legendary soundsystems like Stone Love, Metro Media, and Killamanjaro, she was motivated to start spinning herself. Sista SoulJah delivers a danceable mix that keeps the energy of the night alive and thriving.
