Jamaican reggae singer Tarrus Riley was immersed in music from the very beginning, having grown up in a red, gold, and green cradle as the son of legendary vocalist Jimmy Riley (1947–2016). During the 2000s, father and son frequently performed together, strengthening a musical legacy that continues to resonate today. Riley blends classic roots reggae with dancehall influences, a signature style he has developed across six albums, with Healing (2020) as his most recent release.

For this show, he is joined by the well-oiled Blak Soil Band, along with his close musical companion: saxophonist and singer Dean Fraser, who also featured on Riley’s rocksteady album Love Situation (2014). On stage, Tarrus Riley is known for bringing an extra burst of energy—guaranteeing a powerful and uplifting live experience.
