For 20 years, Rootsriders have been bringing the music of Bob Marley to life on stages around the world. Since 2017, they have been joined by charismatic Sudanese singer Mo Ali, a collaboration that captures reggae in its purest form. Tonight, they once again honour the undisputed King of Reggae with a show filled with classics, love and musical freedom.

This anniversary year is particularly special. Rootsriders & Mo Ali are inviting all Bob Marley fans to help decide which songs they would like to hear. Expect an evening packed with timeless songs that connect generations, performed with respect, energy and a deep love for the originals. As their own support act, the band will also perform material from their recently released album Beautiful Day Beautiful Life, showcasing their own distinctive reggae sound.

Rootsriders were formed in 2006 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Bob Marley’s passing, marking the occasion with a sold-out concert at Melkweg in Amsterdam. Over the years, the band has grown into an international live sensation, with former members including Mitchell Brunings, Shirma Rouse and Giovanca. In 2021, they reached the final of The Tribute: Battle of the Bands and performed alongside the other finalists at a sold-out Ziggo Dome.

Today, Rootsriders are a popular fixture at festivals and concert venues both in the Netherlands and internationally, continuing to celebrate Bob Marley’s music and legacy with audiences around the world.
