Dub Unit is where Kingstep and Het Depot join forces to organise reggae-dub nights aimed directly at your feet. Together we celebrate the rich legacy of the movement, all whilst looking forward into the future. All acts are playing on the mighty Kingstep Sound System all night long.

𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘-𝗨𝗣
𝗛𝘆𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝘀𝗿𝗮𝗵 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 (𝗨𝗞)
Over the years the sounds’ name and configuration has changed. But they still call the coming together of the two sounds Hytal and Bosrah coming together as their greatest achievement. To support and enjoy other sounds and artists in their love for music is their essence and they feel blessed being able to do so.

𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 (𝗨𝗞)
Scientist Sound System started in 1979 in Birmingham UK. Today 43 years later Scientist Sound System remains a major player in the Roots scene and its members now comprise of Roy P, Gorgon Brown, Zebby, Dezi Roots aka Reuben Gondor now (Selector/MC), Joseph Lalibela and Nicky Dread.

𝗥𝗲𝗲𝗺𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘁 (𝗙𝗥)
Reemshot is basded in Lille and heavily inspired by both the local scene (Chalice, Agobun…) & the UK sounds. Expect a conscious & spiritual selection from 70’s to nowadays.

𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗕𝗘)
Kingstep are deejays, a soundsystem, record store owners, producers and promotors. As the hosts of Dub Unit they found an ideal place to showcase their sound and push their beloved scene forward.
