Since 2005 Tim “Slimmah Sound” Baumgarten has been releasing his trademark deep roots and heavy dub music on his own Roots Tribe label, but also on other highly regarded record labels, including King Shiloh’s Majestic label, Bush and Shadow, Deep Root, and many more. Most of these releases have become highly sought-after collector’s items nowadays.

From 2006 till 2012, Slimmah Sound was very active performing his roots music all over Europe with the likes of Idren Natural, Lyrical Benjie, and Jah Melodie taking care of vocal duties during live shows. After a hiatus, he is now back full force, producing new music in his newly built studio and working on a multitude of new releases, including albums with different singers and players of instruments, as well as fully instrumental heavy dub music, warrior style!
