Mouse in the House! Eek A Mouse & Jahvolution are coming to Leeuwarden! Once you hear Jamaican reggae legend Eek-A-Mouse, you never forget him. With a career spanning more than 50 years, he has delivered classic hits such as Ganja Smuggling, Wa-Do-Dem and Rude Boy Jamaican, earning worldwide recognition for his unique and innovative vocal style. For his live performances, the legendary rude boy is backed by renowned riddim duo Mafia & Fluxy.
His 1988 album Eek-A-Nomics helped establish his international reputation, leading to a club hit with The Freak and a recording contract with Island Records in 1989. Since then, he has released numerous albums and hit songs while continuing to captivate audiences around the globe.
Beyond music, Eek-A-Mouse has also appeared in films such as New Jack City. Known for his distinctive singjay style—a blend of singing, DJing and rapping—he has earned the respect of fellow artists across multiple genres. Over the years, he has collaborated with acts including nu-metal band P.O.D., rapper Ditch and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley.
