For this edition of Rastaplas In The City, we have invited not one, but two bands: The Resetters and Roots Garden. The Resetters are an exciting new band bringing the essence of reggae and rocksteady back to life, inspired by the legendary Jamaican artists of the 1960s and 1970s. The band consists of eight passionate musicians who share a deep appreciation for Jamaica’s rich musical history.

Their music is infused with the uplifting rhythms and melodies that define reggae and rocksteady. With powerful lyrics and infectious hooks, The Resetters know exactly how to get the crowd moving.

Roots Garden is a reggae band from Haarlem, fronted by Kenneth Leeuwin. The band has been performing together in its current line-up for more than four years and knows how to effortlessly get a packed venue dancing. Expect a diverse and surprising selection of reggae covers, carefully chosen and performed with plenty of love for their enthusiastic audience.

Providing the tunes throughout the evening is Dready “Rasta” Niek on DJ duties.
