The Skatalites are coming to TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht! The Skatalites, the godfathers of ska, celebrate their 60th anniversary! Formed in 1964 in Jamaica, The Skatalites were the house band of the legendary Studio One label. In that capacity, the band can be heard on early work by Bob Marley and Prince Buster, but The Skatalites also released their own material and were the founders of not only ska, but also rocksteady and reggae.
