Phillip Watson is a social worker I met a few years ago. I was amazed by everything he manages to accomplish in the heart of Kingston, Jamaica. From his youth center, he creates opportunities for children growing up in poverty and surrounded by crime.

Why this fundraising campaign?

To provide:

• Modern learning tools such as laptops and tablets,
• Proper homework support, which is currently lacking,
• Supportive programs to keep kids off the streets and away from crime.

These kids don’t have a supportive network. Access to modern learning tools is almost nonexistent, and many go to school without even having breakfast. Homework classes need your help to give over 60 children living in poverty a fair chance for proper development. Would you like to give them a helping hand?
