Jah Decko opens a new chapter with Love Who Loves You Back, his first album entirely in English. After more than two decades dedicated to music, this project marks a conscious step towards reaching a wider international audience.

Firmly rooted in roots reggae, the album relies heavily on live instrumentation, an essential element for Jah Decko. This organic foundation gives the songs the warmth, depth and energy that the artist considers essential to the spirit of roots reggae.

Love Who Loves You Back combines the genre’s traditional influences with a contemporary approach, exploring different themes and moods. Spirituality, love, relationships, Africa, positivity and everyday experiences are all present throughout the project.

Jah Decko also experiments with different flows and, on several tracks. He uses fewer lyrics to allow the riddim and melody to take a more prominent role and convey part of the message.

Faith continues to play an important role in both his music and his identity. At the same time, Love Who Loves You Back explores deeply human and universal themes that listeners can relate to regardless of their background or circumstances.

The album’s title sums up one of its central ideas. Giving our energy and love to those who genuinely return those feelings. A simple reflection that Jah Decko transforms into songs filled with spirituality, positivity and sensitivity.

Love Who Loves You Back is available on digital platforms and is also planned for release on vinyl.
