Roots Explosion was founded in 2016 and has been running their hand-built soundsystem since 2019. They play all kinds of Jamaican music, dubplates, and homemade productions. Their main emphasis is playing like our Jamaican predecessors used to do in the golden days of reggae music, when rub-a-dub riddims reigned the dance hall. It’s not without reason that they’re also known as the Rub a Dub defenders!
