Jamaican roots reggae singer Mark Wonder announces Amsterdam show

Jamaican roots reggae artist Mark Wonder is coming to the Netherlands this autumn. On Saturday, November 7, 2026, the acclaimed singer will perform during a special edition of Reggae Vibrations at Cinetol in Amsterdam. He was Inspired by artists such as Dennis Brown, Burning Spear and soul legend Sam Cooke. Mark Wonder developed a distinctive style combining traditional roots reggae with socially conscious and uplifting lyrics. He began his career working with the renowned Black Scorpio sound system and released his first single, “Caution,” in the late 1980s.

Over the years, Mark Wonder has released several well-received albums, including Signs of the Times, Jeremiah, Break The Ice and Reflections of the Dragon Slayer. He has also collaborated with prominent reggae artists such as Sizzla, Gentleman, Luciano, Capleton and Anthony B.

During the Amsterdam show, Mark Wonder will join forces with DJ Robbie Roots. Visitors can expect powerful vocals, conscious selections and an evening filled with authentic Jamaican energy. DJ Rowstone will provide support with a selection of reggae, dancehall and soca. The concert takes place at Cinetol, Tolstraat 182 in Amsterdam. Doors open at 19:30 and the show starts at 20:00. Before travelling to Amsterdam, Mark Wonder will also perform at Bibelot in Dordrecht on Thursday, November 5. For this edition of Reggae Central, he will be backed by The Rude Cut Band, with support from Sista Souljah of the ReggaeBomb Crew. The show takes place in Bibelot’s Power Stage and starts at 21:00.
