Rootsriders ft. Mo Ali | Bullekerk, Zaandam | 12-09-2026

For 20 years, Rootsriders have been travelling the world in the footsteps of their musical hero Bob Marley, still the undisputed King of Reggae. Since 2017, they have been joined by Sudanese singer Mo Ali. To celebrate this special anniversary, the band is inviting Bob Marley fans to choose which songs they would like to hear. As their own support act, Rootsriders will also perform songs from their recently released album Beautiful Day Beautiful Life.

Rootsriders were formed in 2006 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Bob Marley’s passing with a sold-out concert at Melkweg in Amsterdam. Former members include Mitchell Brunings, the current lead singer of The Wailers, as well as renowned Dutch singers Shirma Rouse and Giovanca.

In 2021, Rootsriders reached the final of the first season of the SBS6 television show The Tribute: Battle of the Bands. Together with the three other finalists, they went on to perform at a sold-out Ziggo Dome. The band regularly performs internationally, both with their own headline shows and at festivals.
