Get ready for the new Jamaican roots generation! Samory-I and his band are coming to Melkweg in Amsterdam! The vocalist hailing from Kingston broke through a few years ago with the debut album ‘Black Gold’ and conquered the reggae world with his unique voice full of emotion. Last fall, his new album ‘Strength’ was finally released, produced by Winta James (Protoje, Chronixx) and with contributions from Lila Iké, Kabaka Pyramid and of course his buddy Mortimer – that other great roots talent. The album is named after his son, who is featured on the cover with Samory. Now the singer is finally coming to the Melkweg with his band!
