
Reggae Lake Festival has announced another exciting addition to its 2026 line-up. Jamaican reggae star Gyptian is set to perform at the Amsterdam festival. Bringing his signature blend of reggae, dancehall and lovers rock to one of Europe’s premier reggae events.
Born Windel Beneto Edwards in Kingston, Jamaica, Gyptian rose to international fame with hits such as “Hold Yuh,” “Nah Let Go,” “Wine Slow” and “Beautiful Lady.” Known for his smooth vocals and romantic reggae style. He has built a loyal fanbase around the world and remains one of Jamaica’s most recognizable contemporary reggae artists.
Since breaking through in the early 2000s, Gyptian has released several successful albums. He did collaborations with artists from across the reggae and dancehall spectrum. His ability to combine roots reggae influences with modern sounds has helped him remain relevant across multiple generations of reggae fans.
