Chillville Festival presents Barrington Levy as headliner


Barrington Levy is coming to ChillVille Festival in Breda. The festival is held in the beautiful Breepark on saturday the 29th and Sunday the 30th of June. This iconic singer is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist known for his distinctive voice and energetic performances. Born on April 30, 1964, in Clarendon, Jamaica, Levy rose to prominence in the late 1970s and early 1980s with hits like “Collie Weed,” “Under Mi Sensi,” and “Black Roses.” He is often credited with popularizing the “dancehall” style within reggae music.


Barrington Levy his music often combines elements of reggae, dancehall, and roots music, with his lyrics touching on themes such as social justice, spirituality, and love. His high, soulful voice and charismatic stage presence have earned him a dedicated fan base worldwide.
