Madless was founded in the pre-Covid era, around 2020. Imagine this: a group of musical friends, all deeply immersed in reggae, rocksteady, and ska for years. One night at the pub, all it took was a spark—an idea, a vibe, a suggestion. The inevitable happened: a Dutch Tribute Band to Madness was born.

The newly formed band persevered through the pandemic, rehearsing in spaces filled with plexiglass walls and masked faces. Despite a few lineup changes along the way, they emerged stronger than ever. Now, these six ska fanatics are ready to take the stage!

Support Act: DJ The Chief
A staple in the Zaanstreek music scene, DJ The Chief (a.k.a. Michiel Heinicke) has been spinning tunes since 2017 as the resident DJ of Heroes Music Bar, following a long tenure at Rock Café Jinx. A musician himself, playing in the Zaanse garage rock band The Mieters, DJ The Chief prefers vinyl, with a passion for rock and alternative genres—and an unapologetic love for the ’80s. He’ll make sure to get everyone on their feet!
