Amsterdam is getting another reggae festival! On Saturday, May 29, 2027, IJland Amsterdam will be transformed into a tropical reggae destination for Island Vibes Reggae Festival. Bringing together reggae music, Caribbean culture, food and positive vibes. From 2:00 PM until 11:30 PM, reggae lovers from across the Netherlands and beyond can expect a full day of live music and entertainment. Island Vibes promises a combination of international and local reggae artists, DJs and a wide variety of reggae and Caribbean sounds. Ranging from roots reggae and lovers rock to dancehall and island classics.

More Than Just Music

Island Vibes aims to bring the atmosphere of the Caribbean to Amsterdam. Alongside the musical programme, visitors can enjoy authentic Caribbean food, tropical cocktails and an arts & crafts market. The festival is all about bringing people together through music, culture and positive energy, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for reggae lovers.

New Reggae Festival for Amsterdam

With Amsterdam already having a strong connection to reggae and soundsystem culture, Island Vibes adds another event to the city’s reggae calendar. The festival takes place at IJland, an industrial and atmospheric event location in Amsterdam. With both music and Caribbean culture at the heart of the event, Island Vibes is setting out to create a complete festival experience rather than simply a series of live performances.
