Shenseea is the second artist for Sun Splash Festival 2025 in The Hague (NL). She is born Chinsea Linda Lee on October 1, 1996, in Mandeville, Jamaica. Shenseea is a prominent dancehall artist known for her dynamic presence in the music industry. Raised in Kingston, she has a Jamaican mother and a Korean father, from whom she is estranged. She attended Mona High School and later studied Entertainment Management at Excelsior Community College but left due to financial challenges. Her musical journey began in church, where she nurtured her singing aspirations from a young age.

Shenseea gained widespread recognition in 2016 with her remix of Vybz Kartel’s “Loodi,” which became a significant hit. Her career has been marked by notable collaborations, including working with Sean Paul on “Rolling” in 2017 and featuring on Christina Aguilera’s 2018 album “Liberation” with the track “Right Moves.” In 2019, she signed with Interscope Records and released “Blessed” featuring Tyga, further elevating her international profile. Her versatility is evident as she seamlessly blends dancehall with elements of hip-hop and R&B.
