Rastaplas Festival Announces 1st Act: Culture ft. Kenyatta Hill

Zoetermeer, The Netherlands – The first name for Rastaplas Festival 2026 has officially been revealed, and it’s a powerful one. Legendary roots reggae group Culture, led by Kenyatta Hill, will take the stage at the beautiful Noord-AA Strand in Zoetermeer on Saturday, July 18th, 2026.

With this announcement, Rastaplas once again confirms its commitment to authentic roots reggae, conscious lyrics, and uplifting live performances.

A Living Roots Reggae Legacy

Culture remains one of Jamaica’s most respected and influential roots reggae groups. Founded in the 1970s, the band became internationally known for their spiritual messages and timeless classics such as “Two Sevens Clash”. “International Herb”, and “See Them A Come.” Their music continues to inspire generations of reggae lovers worldwide.

Today, Kenyatta Hill, son of the late Joseph Hill, carries the torch with passion and authenticity. Since stepping into the role of lead singer, Kenyatta has honored his father’s legacy while bringing his own energy and stage presence to Culture’s powerful catalog.
