Italian reggae and dancehall group Sud Sound System will celebrate its 35th anniversary at Toekomstmuziek in Amsterdam on Thursday, November 5, 2026.
The anniversary show brings the group’s distinctive blend of reggae, dancehall and Salento traditions to the Dutch capital. Their use of local dialect gives the music a strong regional identity, connecting Jamaican rhythms with the culture of southern Italy.
For Dutch reggae fans, the concert offers an opportunity to experience a different expression of the music: one rooted in the sounds and language of Salento. The Amsterdam date forms part of the group’s celebration of 35 years of music.
The event is part of a live music programme organised by Wonderflow Records. Following an earlier event at Bitterzoet featuring Cali Agents, Dope D.O.D. and DJ Fastcut, the organisation is expanding its activities with a series at Toekomstmuziek, connecting the Italian music scene with audiences in the Netherlands.
Sud Sound System’s anniversary concert takes place at Toekomstmuziek, Danzigerbocht 29, Amsterdam.
