Etana is coming to TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. Jamaican reggae singer Etana (her stage name means ‘The Strong’ in Swahili) combines a powerful, supple voice with soulful reggae. Etana’s influences range from Bob Marley via Dolly Parton to Sizzla, an explanation for her broad palette of styles. On July 26, her new album Nectar Of The Gods was released, on which she collaborates with Shatta Wale, Bugle and Randy Valentine, among others. Nectar Of The Gods is a delightful fusion of reggae, pop and dancehall, with positive lyrics about Etana’s main themes: love, resilience and gratitude!
