Rootsriders ft Mo Ali are coming to 013 in Tilburg. They are known for their exuberant live shows that celebrate the life and music of the King of Reggae. They have performed over 2000 shows from New York to Istanbul and from Copenhagen to Johannesburg. The band was once named the world’s best Bob Marley tribute band by BBC radio. In 2024, the Rootsriders will embark on a world tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic album ‘Legend’.

In 1984, three years after Bob Marley’s death, that album saw the light of day. With over 25 million copies sold, this compilation album became one of the best-selling albums of all time. Rootsriders was founded to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Bob Marley’s death and has become an important player in the Dutch live music circuit over the years. Among their former members we find well-known names such as singers Giovanca Ostiana and Shirma Rouse. Also Mitchell Brunings, who went viral worldwide with his blind audition on The Voice where he of course won a Marley song.
