
Dutch reggae artist Ibex Komodo & Fyah Roots Band are officially set to perform at the 2026 edition of Zwarte Cross Festival. They are bringing authentic reggae vibes to the beloved Reggaeweide stage this summer. The performance marks another major milestone for the band, who continue to build a strong reputation within the Dutch reggae scene. Through energetic live shows and a powerful blend of roots reggae, dancehall and Caribbean influences.

Meet Ibex Komodo & the Fyah Roots Band, an energetic and passionate reggae formation from the Netherlands. Emerging from Rotterdam’s vibrant music scene. The band delivers a unique sound in which reggae seamlessly blends with energetic dancehall influences.
The musical foundation of frontman Ibex Komodo was built behind the keyboard. As a respected keyboard player, he toured with international Jamaican heavyweights such as Fantan Mojah, Eek-A-Mouse, Gyptian, U-Roy, Turbulence, Lutan Fyah and Jah Cure. He carried this wealth of international live experience with him when he decided to start writing his own music and founded the Fyah Roots Band in 2019.
