Burning Spear will perform at No Logo Festival in France

Burning Spear, aka Winston Rodney will perform at No Logo Festival in France. He will be present on Thursday, August 11 at the Fort of The Holy Father! This reggae icon from Jamaica will be playing at No Logo Festival in France. Born in Jamaica in 1945, the Rastafarian and black historian befriended Bob Marley in the mid-1960s. He launched his career in 1969 with the single Door Peep. A pioneer of Roots-Reggae, he often reflected the aspirations and challenges that shaped the lives of fellow Jamaicans. Burning Spear has enlightened his many fans with clever, impactful lyrics. The Spear has released albums and has released numerous studio albums. He won two Grammy Awards for Best Reggae Album, including Jah Is Real in 2009. His energy and dynamism on stage are fascinating.

No Logo BZH is a Reggae – Roots – Dub – Dancehall & World Music festival, in total independence. The Festival dreamed of seeing him on the big stage of No Logo BZH. It will be done in 2022! The No Logo Festival was created in 2013. In just a few years No Logo has become the biggest reggae festival in France. In just forty days, the festival was up and running for his first edition on 14 & 15 August 2013, on the emblematic site of Les Forges de Fraisans in the Jura. Coming from the world of reggae music, our programmer took up the challenge of welcoming the biggest names on the international reggae scene to the heart of the Jura from his first edition!
