UB40 Returns to the Netherlands for Major Concert at Rotterdam Ahoy

Reggae fans in the Netherlands have something special to look forward to! The legendary British band UB40 is set to return for a highly anticipated live show. Saturday, March 21, they will perform at Rotterdam Ahoy. Known as one of the most successful and influential British groups of all time. UB40 has sold over 100 million albums worldwide and scored more than 50 UK chart hits throughout their remarkable career.

Among their timeless classics are the global number-one hits “Red Red Wine” and “(I Can’t Help) Falling in Love With You,” alongside U.S. Top 10 favorites like “Here I Am (Come and Take Me)” and “The Way You Do The Things You Do.” With a catalog packed with singalong anthems, fans can expect an evening filled with nostalgia, positive vibes, and unforgettable reggae-pop energy.

British Reggae/Pop Legends Still Going Strong

Hailing from Birmingham, UB40 has spent more than four decades proving themselves as one of the hardest-working touring bands in popular music. Their live performances continue to attract multigenerational audiences, a testament to the band’s enduring relevance and universal appeal.

The group was last seen in the Netherlands in 2024. Delivering two memorable performances — an open-air concert at Tilburg’s Spoorpark followed by a sold-out Ziggo Dome show just months later. Their return to Dutch soil signals another must-see event for reggae lovers.

Today’s UB40 lineup features founding members Robin Campbell (vocals/guitar), Jimmy Brown (drums), Earl Falconer (bass/vocals), and Norman Hassan (percussion/trombone/vocals). They are joined by Matt Doyle (lead vocals), Martin Meredith (saxophone/WX7/keys), Laurence Parry (trumpet/flugelhorn). Ian Thompson (saxophone), Jahred Gordon (keys), and longtime guest emcee Gilly G, creating a powerful ensemble that continues to bring the UB40 sound to stages worldwide.

With their proven track record of sold-out shows and hit-filled performances, the upcoming Rotterdam concert is shaping up to be one of the standout reggae events of the season.
