The American roots reggae formation Groundation is coming to the Melkweg in Amsterdam for an ode to their legendary album ‘Hebron Gate’. The band will perform the FULL album in Amsterdam on Thursday 18 July. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Since the late 90s, Groundation has been the absolute torchbearer of American roots reggae. The band around singer/guitarist Harrison Stafford is known for its tremendously tight reggae grooves full of jazz, funk and dub elements, and is back after five years to set the Max on fire!
The nine-piece Californian band Groundation released their 10th studio album ‘One Rock’ in 2022, but this tour is also dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the successful album ‘Hebron Gate’.
