Guiding Ark started with a weekly radio show around 2014 at Radio Banzai in Den Bosch. After continuously playing week-in and week-out for four years and getting inspired by the regular sound system event, Rewind, the time was right to build their own sound system. The first official Guiding Ark Soundsystem dance dates back to February 2019, with a humble 2 x 15” scoop setup. Over the years, the sound system has evolved into what is now a fully functioning 4 x 18” scoop stack. Nowadays, they run a regular sound system dance in Den Bosch called Dubbing Is A Must, where they invite artists and soundsystems from near and far to come and spread roots & culture.
