The Wailers were formed by former members of Bob Marley and the Wailers after Marley’s passing and were led by bassist Aston “Familyman” Barrett until 2016. His son, Aston Barrett Jr., then took over the role. Supported by musicians such as Owen “Dreadie” Reid—the last musical protégé of Familyman—and Dutch-Jamaican singer Mitchell Brunings.
Brunings’ vocals add even more dynamism to the already captivating live performances of this Jamaican group. The Wailers continue to enchant audiences worldwide with their unique reggae style.
