Rototom Sunsplash Announces First 70 Artists

The international reggae festival Rototom Sunsplash begin to assemble the pieces for its 29th edition, to be held in Benicàssim from 16 
to 21 August 2024, with its first announcement that brings together almost 70 names across its stages to lay the foundations for one of the most popular gathering of Jamaican music on the planet. 

Rototom Sunsplash is one of Europe’s largest reggae music festivals, held annually in Benicàssim, Spain. It typically spans over a week in August, attracting thousands of attendees from around the globe. Founded in 1991, Rototom Sunsplash celebrates reggae culture with live performances, DJ sets, workshops, and cultural activities. Rototom Sunsplash’s vibrant atmosphere fosters a sense of community, with camping facilities for attendees to immerse themselves fully. Workshops on sustainability, cultural diversity, and activism enrich the festival experience, promoting education alongside entertainment.

The festival’s lineup features renowned reggae artists alongside emerging talents, covering various sub-genres like roots, dub, dancehall, and ska.
